A Different Porn

While there is no nudity, cursing, or loud moaning in this video, it is still probably not very good for a work place. Read with your own discretion.

I first came across this video on a fairly blank page with no introduction a few days ago. I spent the following few days trying to re-find it, and present it below in a fairly similar way in which I came across it. My impressions follow the video.

So, when I first watched this, I thought a few things–none of them very erotic. I kept watching in the beginning because it was so quiet and the narrative started happening without much fuss. But I was also intrigued, piqued because this was average-to-less-than-average looking sexuality; something you don’t see much in movies and something I hadn’t sought for on the Internet before (does a regular-looking-people-porn fetish exist?). This video, it seemed, was made solely because some random woman wanted to play with her vibrator and Isight on a train.

As the video progresses, I of course continued watching because I was terrified she would get caught or something bad would happen. I don’t like scary movies, typically, but in a way this seemed like a good old fashioned Hitchcock movie. With a dildo.

When I finally re-found the video, though, my impression suddenly changed: It turns out that the average-looking masturbater runs her own homespun porn site. Even with her Twitter feed and other geeky nods, I felt cheated. This was a professional operating, and this video just one of many in a series of her lathering up her boobs, masturbating on other trains, et al.

What once had been intriguing and kind of mysterious now seemed to be solely profane (but not in a pornographic way).
