TOASTED OLIVE & GARLIC SOURDOUGH / ROMA TOMATO / RED ONION / AVOCADO / MORNINGSTAR CHIK PATTIE / PROVOLONE CHEESE / OLIVE OIL / BALSAMIC VINEGAR / SEA SALT / PEPPER
While the chik pattie was the main substance and flavor of this sandwich, I wish I would have left it off. The patties are becoming a constant in my digestive system, rivaling that of the presence of pierogies in my middle school years, and any uniqueness of flavor is starting to dull–which may spell doom for longterm eating options.
Unfortunately, the veggies (besides the red onion) also seemed to be sub par; or an allergy was destroying their flavor. And so while I expectantly bit into the bread wanting a juicy tomato, I instead got mostly water. The avocado was bland as well.
The bread–which I’m confused as to how it ended up in my fridge–was, however, hearty and delicious. Visible chunks of olive made themselves available in almost bite, and the toasting the bread accentuated the garlic.
